There is a single Commencement Ceremony in early May for all students who graduate in an academic year (preceding fall and spring semesters and subsequent summer session).  Students eligible to participate in Dominican's Commencement on Sunday, May 6, 2018 included those who will have successfully completed all of their coursework by 

  • December 2017 or
  • May 2018 or
  • August 2018

Every Candle & Rose and Commencement ceremony is streamed live for those who cannot attend. You can also view an archive of previous Commencements and Candle and Rose ceremonies.

Requirements to Participate

  • All students must be complete the graduation application and be approved by the Office of the Registrar to graduate.
  • Additionally, your student account must be paid in full in order to pick up your tickets, regalia and to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.
  • All graduates are assessed a graduation fee of $75. The fee does not include the cost of your academic regalia. You will pay for your regalia directly to the Stepan Bookstore at the time of pick-up.
  • If you are not participating in the Commencement Ceremony, you need only to pay the graduation fee
