The Biological Sciences department at Dominican may be large, but it is also friendly. Faculty advisors are always ready to help students.

Science Club

This is an important glue that holds the department’s undergraduate social life together. The Science Club organizes and sponsors field trips and lectures on scientific topics or career planning. The club also sponsors various social functions throughout the school year.

Students apply classroom concepts to the real-world setting. Many of the programs in the Natural Sciences department require students to complete an internship to graduate. In some cases, internships pay the student a stipend while they gain experience and earn college credit.

Dominican science students have recently completed internships with:

  • Advocate Lutheran General Hospital
