Rashim Lettsome ’08 profiled by the Forest Leaves newspaper

Rashim Lettsome ’08 was recently profiled by the Forest Leaves newspaper based in River Forest, Illinois. Rashim played basketball for two seasons at Dominican and currently serves as an assistant men's basketball coach for the Stars. To read the full interview, click here

"I loved it overall," said Rashim about playing career at Dominican. "The staff was supportive, and my teammates and coaching staff were great. I loved everything about it."

Rashim earned two letters with the Stars in 2006-07 and 2007-08, climbing all the way to the top of the Stars’ NCAA-era assist list. Additionally, his .800 free throw percentage ranks third on the Stars’ all-time list.

Following his collegiate playing career, Rashim continued his playing career, landing roster spots with the Lake County Stars and the Kenosha Ballers of the Independent Basketball Association, serving as team captain for the Ballers championship runs in 2016 and 2017.

While at Dominican, Rashim majored in psychology and sociology. He currently works as a childcare worker at a therapeutic residence in Oak Park.
