Interview with Jamie Bukovac MALIS ’83, director of Indian Prairie Library

Jamie Bukovac MALIS ’83, director of the Indian Prairie Library, was recently interviewed in The Doings Weekly in Burr Ridge. She spoke about working in libraries at an early age and developing a passion for the job.

Jamie started working at the Dolton Public Library at 15 years old and gained more responsibility as she entered college. After graduating from Purdue University-Calumet, she earned a master's degree in library and information science from Dominican University.

Jamie has also worked at libraries in Downers Grove and Hinsdale. She joined the Indian Prairie Public Library District in 2006.
