Margaret Conroy MALIS ’86 named director of Boone Library

Margaret Conroy MALIS ’86 has been hired as the new director of The Daniel Boone Regional Library. She beat out two other finalists due in part to her experience in Missouri, according to a library news release.

Margaret will take over the directorship on Jan. 18. She has held library leadership positions in St. Charles, Moberly and with the state of Missouri.

She has a master’s degree from Dominican University and a bachelor’s from Quincy University. Daniel Boone Regional serves Boone and Callaway counties with libraries in Ashland, Columbia and Fulton and bookmobiles that travel to other areas.
